Undergrad Intern - Operations – Holly Springs, NC (Summer 2027)

Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States; students must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Salary: $28.87 per hour

What you will do

• Support the design and construction of functional-area projects at the North Carolina FleX Batch drug substance manufacturing facility.
• Complete technical evaluations, present data, make recommendations, and close action items.
• Work cross-functionally to define problems, assess current states, and develop qualitative and quantitative recommendations.
• Contribute to equipment design, supply planning tools, or unit operational readiness deliverables.
• Lead initiatives, strategic analyses, and business case development for Operations functions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and expected to have completed one year of study before the internship begins.
• Expected to remain enrolled in an accredited college or university after the internship.
• Available to work full time during the approximately 13-week internship and authorized to work in the United States for the program duration.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Coursework in engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomanufacturing, life science, biology, biotechnology, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• VBA for Excel and SQL knowledge.
• Campus leadership experience through projects, clubs, organizations, or sports.
