What you will do

  • Develop innovative solutions for analyzing and visualizing omics data in pediatric immuno-oncology research.
  • Lead computational analyses of transcriptomics, proteomics, scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, spatial omics, CRISPR screens, and related datasets.
  • Perform statistical analysis, implement algorithms, develop programs, and oversee quality checks.
  • Build, implement, maintain, and support databases, including data collection and usage workflows.
  • Establish research protocols and standard operating procedures, evaluate solutions, and integrate best practices.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects, collaborate with scientists and developers, and delegate tasks based on project priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics, cheminformatics, statistics, computer science with a biological sciences or chemistry background, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant post-degree experience with a bachelor's degree; alternatively, a master's degree with 4+ years of experience or a PhD with no experience.
  • Strong programming skills in R and Python, including bioinformatics workflows and data analysis pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and high-performance computing environments for large-scale data processing.
  • Experience analyzing next-generation sequencing data, including CRISPR screening, single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, data management, attention to detail, and experience with statistical software.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence tools.
