Wound Program Coordinator, Registered Nurse, RN (Wound Care)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts and surrounding areas; field-based home health work with required weekend and holiday rotation.

Annual pay range: $91,879.42–$117,150.49.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and oversee the wound care program.
• Provide clinical leadership, consultation, mentoring, and guidance to nurse managers and nursing staff.
• Conduct wound care consultations, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with primary nurses, physicians, discharge planners, and community resources.
• Establish care plans, policies, procedures, protocols, evaluation tools, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead the Wound Care Committee and oversee wound care supplies, vendors, and formulary selection.
• Train and supervise clinical staff, review wound care documentation, complete required patient-care records, and support regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing certification required.
• Three years of Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing experience required.
• Two years of home health experience required.
• Knowledge of wound care treatment, reimbursement criteria, regulatory requirements, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and infection control procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
