Licensed Nursing Assistant II - Wound Center - Full Time (Day Shift)

What you will do

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse and within the LNA scope of practice.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including transfers, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
• Room patients for wound care, ostomy care, and hyperbaric treatment visits.
• Obtain vital signs and blood sugars, remove wound dressings as needed, and report patient changes to the registered nurse.
• Document care in the medical record and support patients' psychosocial, cultural, and religious needs.
• Follow infection-prevention precautions and clean and stock examination rooms between visits.

Requirements

• Current Nursing Assistant license in the State of New Hampshire required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS authorization preferred or required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to provide patient care within LNA policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
