Advanced ME Manager (Automotive)

Location: Fully onsite in Newton, North Carolina, United States; willingness to travel up to approximately 25% is required.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day administrative and technical leadership for manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Benchmark manufacturing processes, close operational gaps, and ensure compliance across hardening, welding, assembly, and other core processes.
• Plan, track, and communicate Newton plant capital expenditure requirements, budgets, equipment purchases, and tooling investments.
• Lead capacity planning, demand analysis, SIOP and MPS activities with Supply Chain and Commercial functions.
• Implement industrial solutions, BPE and CIMS projects, process improvements, and plant-level NVH activities.
• Establish standard processes and cycle times, coordinate SOP deliverables, and support prototype production and problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering leadership, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience with capex planning and tracking.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Newton, NC and travel up to approximately 25%.
