Ground Systems Development Analyst (Missile Defense)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, at Redstone Arsenal

Company

Supports the Missile Defense Agency’s engineering, development, testing, and deployment efforts for layered missile defense systems.

What you will do

• Support Ground-based Midcourse Defense systems engineering leadership with requirements verification.
• Analyze ground system performance specifications and other requirements documentation.
• Review contractor Joint Review Packages, verification strategies, Contract Data Requirements List deliverables, and objective evidence artifacts.
• Provide recommendations on requirements decomposition, verification acceptance, concurrence, and guidance.
• Support sprint reviews, program management reviews, requirements and design reviews, project status reviews, test events, and readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with military personnel, government civilians, contractors, engineers, analysts, scientists, and technicians.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• 12 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or 20 years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.
• Direct experience with requirements verification and the ability to analyze and resolve problems independently or lead teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and DOORS.
• Ability to develop and present technical reports and briefings, including support for Engineering Review Boards, stakeholder coordination, and the Operational Capability List approval process.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency or Department of Defense programs and processes.
• Experience with digital engineering or DevSecOps development projects.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
