What you will do

• Support the Missile Defense Agency Director of Test, Targets Engineering Directorate and the Targets Program Office.
• Serve as architect for implementing the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program Office.
• Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and create metric reporting methods for current and future programs.
• Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the Government Reference Architecture in Cameo.
• Elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs while performing and leading systems engineering activities.
• Conduct functional analysis using MBSE techniques and tools, and define system requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 12 years or bachelor’s degree with 20 years of relevant experience in a STEM-related field.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and US citizenship are required.
• Expert knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, preferably with direct DoD systems experience.
• Experience with architecture modeling languages and frameworks, including DoD Architecture Framework and Unified Architecture Framework.
• Ability to work independently, lead teams, analyze and resolve problems, and train others on MBSE concepts and tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MDA and DoD programs and processes.
• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems, or hypersonic weapons.
• Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools such as DOORS NG.
• Exposure to MDA test events and activities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
