Systems Engineer - SD WAN Network PMO

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite only with no remote or telework allowed

Projected compensation range: $135,035.83–$234,801.11 annually.

What you will do

• Support the Engineering Team within a Program Management Office and coordinate with PMO leadership, internal offices, and mission partners.
• Gather, document, articulate, and track program goals and technical requirements through closure.
• Plan and facilitate resource, technical authority, network requirements, engineering, and technical expert forums.
• Help define enterprise network solutions involving cloud service providers, SD-WAN operations, network equipment, and information security practices.
• Support software-defined network architecture, global scaling, traffic engineering, resiliency, and sponsor connectivity to cloud resources.
• Model and simulate inter-agency network architectures for capacity planning and future bandwidth requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience with eBGP, OSPF, communities, and route policy language on service-provider on-premises infrastructure.
• Ability to convert customer or product requirements into complete systems solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Experience with functional and timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, modeling, risk analysis, and performance measurement.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, oral, written, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least three years of experience in the Intelligence Community.
• Experience conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Complex problem-solving experience in dynamic and challenging environments.
