Senior Data Scientist

Location: On-site in Chantilly, Virginia, United States

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze datasets to create models and determine potential outcomes.
• Develop and integrate machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, and Apache Hadoop.
• Create interactive scientific visualizations and customer-facing reporting tools.
• Develop queries and reports while parsing, merging, conditioning, cleaning, and mining complex datasets.
• Establish and manage large datasets and support end-to-end database management.
• Apply data science methods to cost estimating, integrated program management, and cross-program analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• Experience with Python and data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy; experience with R, Julia, or other programming languages.
• Experience developing and evaluating datasets and applying relevant statistical measures.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Google Charts.
• Appropriate security clearance required.
