Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Cincinnati General Offices, United States

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year, plus bonus where applicable and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable data science algorithms for complex business and scientific problems.
• Research, customize, and implement algorithms across different problems and data types.
• Apply exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building to massive datasets in cloud environments.
• Use machine learning, operations research, optimization, simulation, Generative AI, and Agentic AI techniques.
• Collaborate with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize solutions.
• Coach colleagues and develop recognized expertise in data science methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Analytics, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with OpenCV, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, and Pandas.
• Ability to develop and test code within cloud environments and work with large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others.
• Work at the Cincinnati General Offices is required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying machine learning, optimization, simulation, Generative AI, or Agentic AI to real-world problems.
• Experience with GCP or Azure.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps environments.
