Medical Assistant - Foundation Foot and Ankle Med Surgery - Full Time - 32 Hours

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Full-time, in-person role with Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 shifts and no weekends.

What you will do

• Provide patient care in person, by telephone, and through telehealth under provider and nursing supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations within the applicable scope of practice.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect and handle specimens.
• Collect and screen patient histories and health-related information, then communicate findings to providers.
• Communicate provider instructions and care plans to patients.
• Document procedures, interventions, communications, and test results accurately in medical records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience of three years as a Medical Assistant.
• Current BLS/CPR training.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting is preferred.
