Scientific Advisor (Rhinology-Gastroenterology) - VIE Contract

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Target start date: 01/12/2026. The VIE program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area aged 18–28, and candidates cannot apply for an assignment in their own country of citizenship.

What you will do

• Provide scientific and strategic support to the Global Medical Head and Medical Affairs team.
• Assist with developing and implementing global medical strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Prepare, review, and present scientific communications, data, presentations, and reports.
• Support advisory boards with external experts and scientific symposia.
• Develop medical affairs policies, ways of working, and external expert networks.

Requirements

• At least one year of pharmaceutical industry experience, including internship or apprenticeship experience; Medical Affairs experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• MD, PharmD, or a master’s degree in a scientific field related to the position.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication is required.
• Eligibility for the VIE program: EEA citizenship and age between 18 and 28; the assignment must be outside the candidate’s country of citizenship.
