What you will do
- Lead the hematology medical affairs team and execute annual and long-range medical affairs strategies.
- Generate, evaluate, and communicate scientific evidence for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Provide scientific, technical, and strategic expertise to brand teams, HEOR and market access, sales, clinical operations, and other stakeholders.
- Support affiliate research studies and global GMA research projects, and optimize development research delivery with Clinical Operations.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders and strengthen field-based medical capabilities.
- Manage budgets, support team development, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, policies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced degree such as a medical degree or PhD; relevant specialty experience is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of oncology experience and at least 3 years of hematology experience required.
- Pharmaceutical industry medical affairs experience.
- Experience with pre-launch and launch phases of a new product or indication.
- Clinical research experience or knowledge, strong portfolio-area expertise, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and budget-management skills.
