Mid/Senior Level Cost Analyst (DoD)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, Virginia, United States

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Conduct earned value management and cost data analyses.
• Develop life-cycle cost estimates, program office budgets, contract proposal analyses, and other cost products.
• Perform monthly and quarterly analyses of cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners.
• Provide analytical support for program controls, reporting, financial execution, and budgets.
• Coordinate and defend results across government organizations, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, business, or the sciences.
• More than three years of experience in cost analysis or cost estimating.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with cost-estimating software such as ACEIT or Crystal Ball.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, cost estimating, and earned value management for fixed-wing aircraft MDAPs.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing life-cycle cost estimates, risk and uncertainty analyses, and model documentation.
• Experience with CSDR and IPMDAR contract requirements and data analysis.
• Experience developing WBS structures with MIL-STD-881 background for fixed-wing aircraft systems.
• Experience analyzing proposals and preparing EVM or cost-related CDRLs.
