Technical GL Accountant - USDS (Multiple Positions)

Location: San Jose, CA, United States

Salary: $117,334–$215,967 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations while ensuring compliance with regional requirements.
• Evaluate business scenarios and recommend appropriate accounting treatments in downstream systems.
• Analyze complex transactions under US and international accounting standards.
• Support accounting policy updates, system improvements, and internal control enhancements.
• Translate accounting implications into clear business language for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of annual external audits.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field, plus 1 year of related experience; or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience performing advanced quantitative analysis, including Excel-based financial modeling, on large financial, product, and operational datasets.
• At least 1 year of experience managing projects, coordinating collaboration, and delivering strategic business outcomes.
• Experience analyzing accounting and financial data using Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience researching and interpreting US and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and US GAAP.
• Experience preparing corporate financial statements, including cash flow and balance sheet statements, under US GAAP.
