Cost Analyst with Secret Clearance

Location: Hybrid role in Arlington, Virginia, United States

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Perform cost and economic analysis for Air Force acquisition programs.
• Conduct cost research, data collection, parametric cost estimating, and cost and schedule estimating.
• Develop and validate cost-estimating relationships and models, including software cost estimates.
• Perform life-cycle cost, cost-risk, forecasting, risk-assessment, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Support budget analysis and execution, program alternatives assessment, and preparation of program documentation and briefings.

Requirements

• Four to eight years of relevant experience in DoD acquisition cost-estimating analysis.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, research, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with cost modeling and cost analysis for weapon systems and/or information systems, including hardware and software estimating processes, models, and tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, business, or a related science field.
• Final Secret-level security clearance or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with ACEIT, Power BI, R, Python, or Microsoft Access.
• Experience preparing cost estimates, assessing program cost and budget impacts, and presenting program documentation and briefings.
