Entry Level Earned Value/Schedule Analyst (Earned Value Management): Supporting Department of War client programs by developing earned value reports, project schedules, cost estimates, and planning data with an accent on cost and schedule performance analysis, contractor EVM compliance, and program reporting. Focus on analyzing schedule risks, coordinating Integrated Baseline Reviews, advising project teams on performance trends, and resolving significant earned value and schedule issues.
Location: Hybrid in Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do
- Coordinate Earned Value Management analyses and maintain detailed earned value reports and project schedules.
- Develop processes and standards for collecting, tracking, analyzing, and distributing cost and schedule data.
- Review schedule execution metrics, schedule risk analyses, and at-completion cost estimates.
- Prepare formal reports, briefs, contract data requirements, and Integrated Program Management documentation.
- Advise Integrated Project Teams on cost, schedule, and performance trends, and brief findings as required.
- Coordinate Integrated Baseline Reviews and assess contractor EVM system compliance and data quality.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in earned value, scheduling, project planning, or related analytical support.
- Basic understanding of earned value, project scheduling, Work Breakdown Structures, and schedule performance metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
Nice to have
- Exposure to federal government or defense environments.
- Familiarity with wInsight Analytics, Empower, Microsoft Project, OpenPlan, MS Access, or similar tools.
- Understanding of the U.S. Department of War Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, R, or similar technologies.
