Software Engineer / Electrical Engineer

What you will do

• Perform technical planning, systems integration, verification, validation, cost and risk analysis, and effectiveness analysis across the system life cycle.
• Conduct technical analysis to optimize the performance of large, complex systems.
• Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models for detailed technical analysis.
• Review system performance specifications and validate that simulations accurately evaluate desired performance.
• Interpret analysis results and present findings with recommended courses of action to customers.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science, or a similar technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience with one or more of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and clearly describe system issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to participate in and brief technical meetings.
