Senior Schedule Analyst (Defense Acquisition)

Location: On-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Kirtland Air Force Base. Occasional travel to government and contractor facilities is required.

What you will do

• Define military nuclear delivery system scope, requirements, configurations, and technical, cost, and schedule risks.
• Develop and deliver Integrated Master Schedules for nuclear delivery defense acquisition projects.
• Apply earned value management, schedule estimating, confidence-level analysis, and schedule prediction methods.
• Perform Schedule Risk Assessments using JACS.
• Monitor and extrapolate cost and schedule performance during mission execution.
• Interface daily with government personnel and prime contractors, with occasional travel to other facilities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is desirable.
• At least 10 years of combined industry and government acquisition experience, including 4 years supporting defense acquisition programs.
• Master’s degree in management, business, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics; a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, subsystem technical relationships, engineering trades, technology development, risk analysis, and system maturity.
• Working knowledge of project management, earned value management, project scheduling, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with nuclear delivery systems.
• Familiarity with SSI Tools, Primavera, PertMaster, Steelray, Milestone Pro, or OnePager.
• Knowledge of the Department of Defense budget cycle.
• PMI-SP, PSP, MCTS, or PMP certification.
