Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Crane ChemPharma & Energy is part of Crane Co’s Process Flow Technologies segment and designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes engineered fluid-handling equipment for chemical, biopharmaceutical, energy, and other industrial applications.

What you will do

• Review and analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement variances for CPE entities.
• Support annual operating plans, weekly pulses, monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
• Prepare HFM-based financial reports, analyses, validations, and year-end schedules for senior finance and operations leaders.
• Support HFM users globally and resolve reporting-system issues.
• Build and improve templates for month-end close, forecasts, plans, and recurring finance activities.
• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders on productivity validation, process improvements, and additional business projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment with an organized and adaptable approach.
• Interest in learning financial systems and reporting tools, including HFM.
