Systems Engineer / Systems Analyst

Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; no remote or telework allowed.

Salary: $5,000 per month.

What you will do

• Conduct technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and effectiveness analysis for complete systems.
• Conduct technical analysis to support customer decisions and optimize the performance of large, complex systems.
• Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models using platforms such as Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, and R.
• Review system performance specifications and validate that simulations and models evaluate the intended performance.
• Interpret analysis results and present findings and recommended courses of action to customers.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, or a similar technical discipline.
• Competence or experience with one or more of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and clearly describe system issues.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in technical meetings and briefings.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Nice to have

• 7 or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience based on advanced education.
• Strong organization and presentation skills for executive status reporting.
• Customer outreach and community forum experience.
• Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle.
