Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite 4 days per week

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure, including landing zones, networking, identity, and security configurations.
• Develop Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service automation for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Support Kubernetes and containerized workloads, serverless components, event-driven infrastructure, and multi-region, multi-tenant environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions while maintaining operational health and reliability.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, disaster recovery testing, and remediation activities.
• Contribute to infrastructure standards and architecture decisions, document operational runbooks, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Strong experience administering Azure environments and hands-on experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS and building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, identity and access management, production troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States; U.S. employment opportunities generally require U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, wealth management, fintech, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with Azure Functions or AWS Lambda, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and large-scale Azure environments.
• Experience with disaster recovery, multi-region deployments, M&A infrastructure integration, Databricks, or modern cloud-native data platforms.
• Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FINRA, SEC, or ICFR compliance frameworks and relevant cloud certifications.
