Technical Product Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end to end, including outcomes, metrics, prioritised backlog, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical designs with Engineering covering system boundaries, ledgers, reconciliation, third-party payment rails, retries, refunds, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
• Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.
• Translate licensing, CDD/KYC, sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy requirements into product decisions and launch gates.
• Define responsible AI use cases, human-in-the-loop controls, evaluation methods, uncertainty handling, and traceability to real records.
• Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation while launching features as partner and regulatory gates clear.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end to end, with strong judgement under ambiguity and the ability to work effectively with senior engineers.
• Strong system-design foundation covering boundaries, datastores, queues and workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency, consistency, and architecture documentation.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products, including evaluation, human feedback, hallucination and drift handling, and data limitations.
• Strong English communication is required for collaboration in global teams.
• Ability to work remotely in a distributed international team across multiple countries and time zones.

• Engineering or highly technical product management background.
• Zero-to-one product development experience.
• Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products or defining evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems.
• AI UX and failure-handling intuition.
• Southeast Asian market experience.
