Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; office-based role with domestic, local, and international travel.

Annual base salary: $88,000–$108,000.

What you will do

  • Lead operational planning and delivery for Paralympic para swimming competitions and training venues.
  • Coordinate venue design, competition and training schedules, equipment requirements, and sport delivery plans with World Para Swimming and hirify.global functions.
  • Integrate timing, scoring, results, infrastructure, venue management, transport, accommodation, and other operational requirements.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and day-to-day management of the para swimming competition workforce.
  • Manage relationships with World Para Swimming, U.S. Paralympics Swimming, national governing bodies, local sports communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Support testing events, international federation site visits, budgets, project plans, reporting, and Games-time readiness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience delivering national and international para swimming events.
  • Extensive knowledge of para swimming and event operations across professional, federation, university, and grassroots environments.
  • Experience coordinating with international and U.S. sports governing bodies and collaborating across venue design, event planning, and delivery functions.
  • Strong organization, communication, team-building, interpersonal, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; a valid passport is required for international travel.

Nice to have

  • Previous Olympic or Paralympic sport experience at an OCOG, multi-sport Games, or international federation-level event.
