Product Management Development Program (PMDP) Pricing Analyst (Insurance)

Location: CT - Hartford, United States

Annual base salary: $63,800–$105,400, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Complete a hands-on, one-year rotational development program covering product insurance pricing, development, and management.
• Analyze business results, product refreshes, performance expectations, losses, production, and root causes.
• Conduct cross-market, cross-state, and competitive intelligence analyses with a high level of accuracy.
• Consult with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams on trends and pricing decisions, then review recommendations with State Teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Actuarial, and Underwriting teams to improve product profitability and achieve business objectives.
• Present recommendations for product and pricing changes or new product builds, using modern analytical and AI tools critically.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future and authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Degree or academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance, Statistics, or another analytical or business-related field.
• Prior work or internship experience in mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or a related area.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
