Manager Inbound and Customs (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead customs compliance and trade operations across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Brunei.
• Ensure compliant and timely import/export movement of products and serve as the primary liaison with government authorities.
• Design standardized import/export procedures, establish KPIs, and monitor OTIF, lead time, freight cost, and service levels.
• Manage 3PL and 4PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers through regular performance reviews.
• Lead duty optimization, bonded-zone, tariff mitigation, and customs automation initiatives.
• Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions, port congestion, and geopolitical risks while driving continuous improvement and cost savings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customs and trade compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trading, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, bonded logistics, and free trade agreement operations.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
