Jr. Schedule Analyst

Location: On-site in King George, Virginia, at the Naval Surface Warfare Center–Dahlgren Division

Salary: $55,000–$88,000 per year, depending on education, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, maintain, analyze, and present integrated project schedules.
• Perform schedule risk assessments, variance analysis, and progress evaluations against established plans.
• Conduct critical path analysis and evaluate contractors’ written reports.
• Support schedule estimating, confidence-level generation, schedule prediction, earned value measurement, and project forecasting.
• Gather schedule data and present analysis while collaborating with government and contractor personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, business, science, or a related field.
• Experience developing, analyzing, integrating, and managing schedules, including milestones, tasks, durations, linkages, dependencies, and resources.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Project Server, or similar scheduling tools.
• Working knowledge of critical path methodology, schedule quality, and schedule execution metrics.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required; an active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.

• Familiarity with DoD development programs and processes.
