Medical Assistant / LPN - Internal Medicine at Briarwood - Full Time

Location: Manchester, NH, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., day shift.

What you will do

• Prepare visit charts by organizing diagnostic results, reports, summaries, and consultations for providers.
• Room patients and document complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, health maintenance, and other clinical information.
• Perform and document hearing, vision, respiratory, ECG, screening, point-of-care, and age- or condition-specific testing.
• Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and administer medications and immunizations.
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations according to established guidelines.
• Manage clinical supplies and medication samples, including storage, labeling, inventory, and par levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• MA I: graduation from an accredited or externship-based medical assistant program, or relevant healthcare training and experience.
• MA II: at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical experience is preferred.
• MA II requires CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification; MA I certification is preferred.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
