Production Associate (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Glens Falls, New York, United States

Salary: $16.00–$23.25 per hour; starting rate listed as $18.50 per hour, plus shift differential.

hirify.global is a large medical device and med-surg products company; the NAMIC division manufactures cath-lab and fluid management products for customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Manufacture, assemble, seal, bond, package, and inspect medical devices according to procedures, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up workstations and prepare, transport, issue, and stage materials and components for work orders.
• Set up and adjust production equipment within the trained scope of the role, escalating complex troubleshooting when required.
• Complete work-order documentation and computer transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area while following hirify.global and OSHA safety requirements.
• Communicate process, safety, and quality concerns to the Production Lead or Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and seek guidance when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to read and write, perform basic math, interpret safety and operating documents, and write routine reports.
• Basic computer navigation skills and aptitude to learn computer terminals and blueprint reading.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive movements, and maintain accurate documentation.
