PA Electro Mechanical Assembler II (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, and working shift.

What you will do

• Learn and perform work across multiple workstations and product lines.
• Perform basic to advanced electro-mechanical assembly and quality control inspections.
• Provide assembly, testing, and packaging support for medical device production lines.
• Identify, document, and communicate product defects and documentation changes to engineers and technicians.
• Operate specialized manufacturing equipment and monitor maintenance and upkeep needs.
• Maintain workstation inventory and follow quality, safety, environmental, energy, and established manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in medical devices or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, accuracy, organization, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn multiple workstations, contribute to a team, and train or teach other operators.
• Good reading and writing skills and strong computer navigation skills.
• Ability to lift parts and components up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and assemble parts with manual dexterity.
