Data Management Specialist (Defense)

Salary: $70,000–$75,100 per year

What you will do

• Establish, maintain, and secure technical documentation repositories.
• Maintain mission-essential database systems supporting defense projects.
• Ingest and meticulously parse system configurations, tactical warfare test data, and engineering records.
• Ensure documentation and data remain accurate, secure, and compliant with Navy requirements.
• Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience developing and maintaining documentation or data management systems.
• Experience working in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II level with a T3 investigation is required.
• Travel is expected to be less than 10%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or CCNA certification.
