Quality Inspector - Night Shift (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: Eleanor, West Virginia, United States; on-site night-shift role

What you will do

• Perform in-process, pre-assembly, final, and incoming-material inspections against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Complete quality control checklists, release quality hold points, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Inspect fabrication, receiving, pre-assembly, and shipping activities during night and weekend operations.
• Audit pick lists and shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide off-shift safety leadership, verify compliance with JSAs, PPE, and workplace safety procedures, and exercise stop-work authority when needed.
• Identify and document hazards, near misses, and incidents; coordinate emergency response and provide structured shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Practical understanding of fabrication, pre-assembly, receiving, assembly, lifting operations, machine guarding, and hazardous energy.
• Experience with ERP or quality systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of JSAs, safe work practices, hazard recognition, behavioral safety, and basic incident reporting.
• Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and clear, direct communication.
