Production Inspector (5:00am to 1:30pm) Gas Final

What you will do

• Perform final inspections on switches, component parts, and orders prepared for shipment.
• Inspect work before it moves to the next operation and document results on production and quality forms.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and Customer Improvement Initiatives for recurring problems.
• Report ISO standard violations and notify the Supervisor when non-conforming processes require shutdown.
• Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and production to create and implement process control charts.
• Train production personnel and other team members in effective process control and inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and a Fluke multimeter.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams is desirable.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; 1–3 years is ideal.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.
