Cost Analyst/Financial Management - Senior Level (FM3) (Aerospace)

Location: Daily on-site work in a customer SCIF in Chantilly, Virginia; U.S. citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance are required.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Support the Space Systems Command SBST mission area alongside Program Control Support staff.
• Interface with Space Force project officers, U.S. government partners, and commercial vendors.
• Perform cost modeling and launch vehicle quick-reaction scenario studies.
• Develop and maintain tools, databases, and systems that improve estimate accuracy and efficiency.
• Create cost estimating relationships through advanced modeling and data analysis using commercial tools and CADOM.
• Evaluate acquisition strategies, document findings, and provide data analysis and performance visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cost estimating, program management, contract negotiations, and technical reviews for military systems.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense budgetary principles and acquisition management regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CADOM and advanced commercial cost-estimating software.
