MT Systems Engineering Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, depending on education and experience

What you will do

• Manage pre- and post-contract technical requirements and execution across the Resilient MW/MT program lifecycle.
• Oversee ICD compliance, risk management, and test and evaluation activities.
• Provide direct systems engineering support for Epoch 1 and Epoch 2.
• Evaluate architectural strategies and align technical execution with established systems engineering plans and architectures.
• Support Senior Program Managers in preparing for program management reviews, quarterly program reviews, and Congressional inquiries.
• Work with multidisciplinary DoD technical personnel and defense hardware contractors.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• At least 10 equivalent years of systems engineering experience in government, an FFRDC, or a government support or development contractor environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• Knowledge of quantitative techniques for analyzing technical data, developing models, interpreting results, and briefing senior DoD leadership.
• Strong technical management, risk management, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
