Associate Producer/Editor (Video Production)

Location: Denver, Colorado — 100 E. Speer Blvd, Tribune-KDVR/KWGN

Salary: $24–$27 per hour, based on experience.

hirify.global operates KDVR/KWGN local television news stations and produces broadcast news programming.

What you will do

• Write and rewrite VO and VOSOT scripts for broadcast news reports.
• Edit video using non-linear editing software for newscasts and other programming.
• Trim recorded segments and reassemble them into effective story sequences.
• Monitor competitive websites, news sources, updates, and breaking news.
• Complete additional production duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, newsroom software, and video editing software, including Adobe Premiere.
• Working knowledge of FTP for sending and receiving large video files.
• Creative writing skills with a strong focus on factual accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including early or late hours, weekends, and holidays.

• Knowledge of ENPS and Bit Central.
