What you will do

• Research, report, and write daily segments for live broadcast.
• Develop interview questions and pitch compelling story ideas.
• Coordinate video and sound elements for assigned segments.
• Collaborate with senior producers on editorial planning and story development.
• Manage live segment production from the control room.
• Create content for digital platforms, social media, and DTC products.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in journalism (cable, network, web, or print).
• Strong writing, research, and reporting skills with deep knowledge of American politics.
• Ability to work flexible hours under tight deadline pressure.

• Experience in edit rooms and breaking news environments.
• Proficiency in tape and desktop editing.
