Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY, with office work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday weekly. The scheduled hours are Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $93,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Write, produce, and edit at least two vertical videos per day for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Transform television segments and original reporting into compelling social videos, graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and livestreams.
• Collaborate with anchors, reporters, contributors, show teams, and senior leaders on original video and social franchises.
• Respond quickly to breaking news and develop content that leads the news cycle.
• Generate short-term and long-term video pitches based on the political news cycle.
• Develop audience growth ideas while maintaining editorial accuracy, nuance, and compliance with standards and practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in social media editing, producing, and writing.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere and the ability to shoot and edit quickly when speed is essential.
• Proven experience producing original digital video and writing scripts for digital audiences.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. politics, social media platforms, native editing tools, and YouTube livestream technology.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva, plus the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY, work the specified flexible schedule, and have unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
