What you will do

• Provide mammography services in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Review requisitions, patient histories, demographic information, and clinical indications for consistency.
• Perform examinations, obtain additional views when needed, and verify technical accuracy and image identification.
• Operate mammography and radiology equipment, adjusting controls according to established procedures.
• Perform quality assurance procedures in accordance with ACR, MQSA, state, and JACHO standards.
• Provide competent, compassionate care to adult patients, with emphasis on geriatric needs, while reporting safety hazards and equipment failures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiological Technology.
• Current mammography state license.
• Mammography Technologist Certification from ARRT.
• Two years of experience as a Mammographer.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clerical procedures, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift more than 15 pounds, and use fine manual dexterity to operate radiology equipment.
