Lead Producer, Sport Presentation

Location: Onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, California, United States. Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000.

LA28 is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee responsible for delivering the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver Sport Presentation across assigned Olympic and Paralympic competition venues.
• Develop venue requirements, specifications, operational structures, and technical implementation plans.
• Lead day-of-event detailing and represent Sport Presentation in cluster-level event testing and Games-time planning.
• Compile sport-specific protocols in line with International Federation regulations and LA28 standards.
• Coordinate with functional areas covering logistics, technology, venue planning, transportation, accommodation, accreditation, and protocol.
• Source and contract venue staff, support training programs, and manage paid staff, contractors, and volunteers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of international experience in Sport Presentation, live sporting events, or sports broadcasting/television production.
• Olympic, Paralympic, or major multi-sport international event experience, including show calling and venue production.
• Degree or diploma in live events, sport management, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast operations, audio, lighting, video production, music, live entertainment, scoreboard operations, staging, communications, and special effects.
• Working relationships with International Federations, the International Paralympic Committee, and the International Olympic Committee.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, prioritization, and pressure-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Victory Ceremonies and a background in sport.
• Experience developing presentations for International Federations and delivering Sport Presentation workshops.
