Assurance Associate (Audit)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required, with up to 25% travel.

Salary: $70,400–$84,000 annually.

What you will do

• Understand clients’ businesses, industries, accounting systems, control systems, and financial reporting topics.
• Learn and apply the audit approach and related tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate internal control structures.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls.
• Identify and resolve accounting or financial reporting issues.
• Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the start of employment.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and access to reliable transportation for assigned client locations.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
