Audit Senior Associate (Accounting)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $71,650–$94,050 per year

What you will do

• Provide industry-specific audit, assurance, and consulting services as part of engagement teams.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information, complete testing, and answer questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities.
• Review financial statements and perform substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements.
• Assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners while mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and at least three years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA exam.
• Two or more years of financial statement auditing experience in a public accounting firm.
• CPA certification preferred or active progress toward completing the CPA exam.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is preferred.
