Audit Senior Associate

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $73,500–$95,500 per year.

What you will do

• Provide assurance and consulting services to industry-specific middle-market clients as part of the engagement team.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities, including substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements.
• Test internal controls, assess deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners based on audit testing and information gathered.
• Build client and internal relationships while supporting the development of team members through coaching and mentoring.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and eligibility for licensure.
• At least three years of experience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an undergraduate degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA exam.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA exam completion.
• Two or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership, project management, organizational, analytical, initiative, and adaptability skills.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
