Location: Remote, based in Arizona, Texas, or New Mexico; ability to travel to Mexico required, including home visits primarily in Chihuahua and Queretaro.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics operates the Crane Fund, which provides assistance to eligible retirees and their families.

What you will do

  • Assess the socioeconomic needs and eligibility of current and prospective Crane Fund recipients.
  • Manage a caseload of 10–75 recipients, including annual reviews, financial verification, budget preparation, and recommendations for assistance.
  • Conduct home visits with at least 75% of recipients each year and complete telephone, email, mail, or fax follow-ups.
  • Maintain recipient records, contact details, bank direct deposit instructions, and assistance status.
  • Connect retirees and families with government, community, and other available support resources.
  • Recruit new applicants, explain Fund requirements, complete applications, and prepare approval reports.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology, psychology, sociology, human services, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of experience working with the served population and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed as an LMSW in the state of residence.
  • Knowledge of government and state-run benefits, disability benefits, aging-related needs, bereavement, and social isolation.
  • Ability to travel to Mexico and work independently.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and retirees.
