Backup Die Cut Operator

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin, United States. Onsite, second shift; overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts may be required.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, inspect, and maintain die cutter equipment and tooling.
• Interpret job tickets, pull and prepare stock, maintain counts, and follow customer requirements.
• Complete diecut, score, stripping, and blanking make-readies, including two-person make-readies.
• Monitor diecutting, creasing, and waste stripping to maintain product quality and established efficiency rates.
• Troubleshoot finished-product issues, complete quality paperwork, and make decisions about product quality.
• Support department operations by maintaining supplies, cleanliness, equipment, baler operation, and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous die cutting experience is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent is desired but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment with moving equipment and people.
• Ability to work effectively with peers and other departments.
• Ability to operate powered pallet equipment and work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required.
