Senior Space Force Financial Analyst (Space Force)

Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Provide classified budget execution management support within a DoD program business management organization.
• Manage lifecycle cost analysis, resource estimating, and multi-year financial planning.
• Collect, validate, and update financial execution data in classified databases and decision-support tools.
• Prepare recurring reports, briefing charts, senior-level memoranda, and budget execution reviews.
• Coordinate funding documents across multiple appropriations, funding streams, partner organizations, and major program contracts.
• Support program control, requirements validation, prioritization, and fiscal decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Air Force or Space Force DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
• Experience providing analytical decision support and program advocacy products to senior DoD management.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Air Force or Space Force financial management and analysis, preferably supporting a space program office or headquarters.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFES, DEAMS, CRIS, FM Suite, CCaR, DTS, DoD EDS, DTIMS, WAWF, or Air Force accounting systems.
• Experience supporting FYDP programming and budgeting, including the Air Force or Space Force POM and OSD BES.
