Epic Application Analyst (Epic)

Location: Remote within the United States; periodic travel and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required, up to 25% travel.

Salary: $92,400–$159,450 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Develop and implement long-term Epic strategies, best practices, policies, workflows, and system enhancements across revenue cycle operations and IT.
• Lead Epic issues and change requests, prepare decision documents and supporting materials, and coordinate client meetings.
• Work with revenue cycle and Epic IT leaders on reporting, work queue strategy, workflow design, performance improvement plans, and project timelines.
• Support system build, integrated testing, user acceptance testing, ticket tracking, escalation, and timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to denial, DNFB/CFB, late charge, registration, scheduling, authorization, coding, and productivity improvements.
• Develop Epic training materials, conduct operational observations and audits, advise leaders, and support new-client assessments and sales enablement.

Requirements

• Current Epic Administrator Certification in a Revenue Cycle-focused module is required.
• At least 3 years of Epic build experience in revenue cycle functions, preferably billing and patient access.
• Strong implementation experience and working knowledge of hospital or ambulatory revenue cycle operations.
• Working understanding of interfaces and interface messages, as well as other revenue cycle-focused Epic applications.
• A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States; periodic onsite travel is required.
