Data Quality and AI Readiness Product Analyst

What you will do

• Assess and document the downstream impact of Human Capital data quality issues across payroll, reporting, integrations, and AI/ML model inputs.
• Conduct root cause analyses and distinguish isolated data errors from systemic process, configuration, or governance issues.
• Partner with Global Process Owners and Workday Technology teams to define structural fixes and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Prepare, validate, and execute data corrections, remediation loads, and standardization initiatives in line with governance and change management protocols.
• Monitor global HR data standards and identify local deviations, non-standard values, workarounds, and risks to reporting accuracy and AI readiness.
• Design and maintain automated data validation routines and anomaly detection scripts, documenting findings as Issue → Root Cause → Risk → Recommendation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data quality, data governance, HR data management, or a related analytical role.
• Experience with Workday HCM or a comparable enterprise HR platform, including reporting, calculated fields, data auditing, and EIB or equivalent mass data loads.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel/Power Query, SQL, or equivalent, plus scripting or automation with Python, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of HR data domains, data remediation, data quality monitoring platforms, AI/ML data readiness, GDPR, and data privacy regulations.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and communicating complex data findings to technical teams and senior leadership.
• Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
