Data Engineer (IoT)

Location: Onsite in the Budapest office at Graphisoft Park, Hungary

Annualized base pay: Ft9,090,200–Ft16,881,800 per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights for engineering teams.
• Design and work with data models, databases, warehouses, lakes, and lakehouses.
• Evaluate technologies for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Oversee data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data processes for scalability.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation using Jenkins.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis.
• Technical proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards with Power BI, Superset, or similar tools.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena or Trino, MSSQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of relational databases and schema types such as star and snowflake schemas.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine-learning-related analysis projects.
• Understanding of automated test environments for hardware validation or software QA.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
