GBS Data Analytics Analyst (Microsoft Fabric)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid role with up to 3 days per week working from home.

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data pipelines, advanced analytics dashboards, and AI-enabled analytics solutions using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Agents and Claude.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and orchestration workflows across structured data environments and cloud platforms.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing data products with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Translate business and finance requirements across Order to Cash, Source to Pay, and Record to Report into actionable data strategies.
• Develop governed Power BI datasets and dashboards for self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Implement data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards while identifying opportunities for automation, innovation, and data transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or related disciplines.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and relational database technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling cloud-based data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of finance process domains, including Order to Cash, Source to Pay, and Record to Report.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, orchestration, governance, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-grade data orchestration tools, including Snowflake orchestration capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI for advanced transformation, automation, and visualization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Strategic mindset, curiosity about emerging technologies, and interest in driving business value through data and analytics.
