Master Data Associate, Global (SAP)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid role with home office opportunity 3 days per week

What you will do

• Maintain accurate master data in SAP ECC, including data creation, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Standardize data, remove duplicates, correct inaccurate records, and identify data quality issues.
• Investigate and resolve master data errors to maintain consistency across business processes.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Accounting, and other stakeholders on data-related issues.
• Support data quality improvement, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and complete audit trails.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and improve internal policies, procedures, and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working with SAP ECC and in master data management, data administration, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand data flows, structures, and business requirements while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, or audit-related processes.
